Reflection about The Training Objective

In this topic, I have learnt the clear definition of the training objective as well with the types of training objective. There are two types of training objective, the first training objective is the expectation which is “to learn” and “to be able to do”, while for the outcomes is from the learning experience.

For the outcomes, there are few changes after the training. The changes are in term of Cognitive(Knowledge), Psychomotor(Skills) and Affective(Values, emotions). Some of the importance of Training Objective is to organizing the trainees’ own efforts and Activities, provides feedback for improving existing training programmes.

Besides, I also learnt the characteristics of Training Objective which is S.M.A.R.T:

Moreover, I also learnt the three domains which are:

  1. Cognitive Domain that related to knowledge, development of intellectual abilities and skills.
  2. Psychomotor Domain that involves changes in movement and coordination.
  3. Affective Domain that changes in attitudes, values and development of appreciation.
